libdianewcanvas2-dev software package provides a gtk+2 vectorial canvas with extra features, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libdianewcanvas2-dev
libdianewcanvas2-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libdianewcanvas2-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libdianewcanvas2-dev *
You will get with libdianewcanvas2-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
